Linzy
Slayden Pastor Linzy Slayden, Jr. was called to pastor Friendship Baptist Church the third week of July in 1992. His experiences as a youth director, music director and associate pastor helped to prepare him to pastor this rapidly growing church. Pastor Slayden was born in Moline, IL and raised in the Quad-Cities area until moving to the small farming community of Cambridge in his junior high years. It was here that he graduated from High School, and met and married his high school sweetheart, Carla. Pastor Slayden is also the current President of the Baptist Bible Fellowship, International. |

Hosea
Bilyeu Hosea Bilyeu is an eighth generation hillbilly raised in Dry Holler Missouri. Hosea met and married “Pretty Miss Debbie” Mabe when she was singingon the stage of Branson’s first show; the Baldknobbers. Hosea was a high school math teacher prior to being “nagged” into the ministry by God. Hosea and Debbie were called to Ridgecrest Baptist in Springfield in 1984 and have seen God grow the mission from 26 people that first Sunday to over 4000 members. They created Wells of Joy as a mission outlet that has seen their family ministry reaching Peru, Guatemala, Mexico, Africa, Honduras and Ecuador. Hosea & Debbie have ministered with their family through Southern Gospel music for over 30 years, and Hosea has a dozen studio albums to his credit. |

Eddie Bumpers Pastor Cross Way Baptist Church, Springfield, MO. Bro. Eddie has been the pastor at Crossway Baptist Church since 2000. He is a native of Alabama and moved to Florida when he was a young child. He became a Christian in July, 1981 and surrendered to the ministry in 1982. He is a graduate of Luther Rice Seminary with his Master of Divinity. He and Tess have been married 31years and have three children, Jared, Jordan and Bethany and one grandchild, McCartnie. He enjoys hunting, reading, and spending time with his family.
